Using the app
How do I start, and when does Then / Now become available?
Answer whichever of the 12 short opening questions you choose. After 21 days, return to the same questions and see today’s answers beside your earlier ones. You can skip questions; long entries are never required.
What is free, and what does Full Access unlock?
The 24 starter prompts, opening 12-question record and Then / Now comparison are free. Notes, your own guide statements, app lock, export and backup restore are also free. One Full Access purchase unlocks 200 short prompts, 100 follow-ups, 50 periodic questions, 50 observation rules and 50 guide templates in total, including the free content. No subscription.
How do I restore a purchase?
Use the Apple Account that made the purchase. Open Full Access from Settings and tap Restore Purchase. Purchase and verification require an internet connection. Restoring purchase access does not restore personal notes or a backup file.
Are my records sent to a server?
No. Personal records stay in the app’s space on your device and are not sent to Medyabox or an AI service. Records do not automatically sync between devices. Depending on device settings, iOS backups may include app data.
What should I know about backups?
Export or restore a JSON backup from Settings. The file is plain text, not an encrypted vault. Save it only in a location you trust and control how it is shared. Deleting all data in the app does not delete previously exported files or iOS backups.
Why does Mirror not show a pattern yet?
Mirror needs enough records for comparison. The app does not infer a definitive personality result from limited data; it helps you look at your answers over time. AI does not interpret your free text.
Where are language, lock and reminder settings?
In Settings, choose Türkçe, English, Español, Français or 日本語, and manage the optional app lock and local reminders. You can also change notification permission in iPhone Settings.
Is Kendine therapy or a personality test?
No. Kendine is a personal reflection tool, not a scientifically validated personality test, diagnosis, therapy or emergency support service. Its observations are limited to the records you provide.
